Bourdeau Financial, Inc. was founded in June of 2000. At the time, there were only seven employees and the belief that we could do things better. And that belief has governed everything we’ve done over these past five years. We now have more than 100 employees in four branches and we’re continuing to grow. The City of Delray Beach has 19 active advisory boards and committees, each set up to perform specific functions. In addition, task forces and ad-hoc committees may be created to address particular issues. Citizen participation in local government is essential if we are to maintain the quality of life we enjoy in Delray Beach. Opportunities exist for citizen volunteers to work in harmony with the government by serving on advisory boards. The City Commission appoints members of the boards and committees. All positions are voluntary and members are not compensated for their time.
